Frankfurt Alliance Strengthens the Rhine-Main Science Hub
The Max Planck Institute of Biophysics is part of the new science network Frankfurt Alliance together with 15 other research institutions in the Rhine-Main metropolitan area
On January 30, 2024, the Frankfurt Alliance was officially launched and the Memorandum of Understanding was signed in the Kaisersaal at Frankfurt’s Römer in the presence of representatives from politics and the heads and directors of all participating institutions. With their alliance, the scientists want to further strengthen Frankfurt as an important international science hub and make it attractive for top researchers from Europe and all over the world.
The Max Planck Institute of Biophysics is looking forward to continue existing successful cooperations and establish new collaborative projects within the Frankfurt Alliance.
On September 28 of this year, the Frankfurt Alliance will be organizing a science festival at Frankfurt's Rossmarkt, where the Max Planck Institute of Biophysics will also be presenting itself and its research topics. Mark your calendars.
